The only negative thing about this wrap is the fact that I worry the baby could just fall out the bottom. I guess you would need to tie it really tight because your body is the only thing stopping that from happening, at least until they're old enough to fit their legs out the sides.
So far the few times I have used this it has been comfortable for me, my newborn doesn't seem to like it much. Hopefully as he gets older he will. Easy to put on for front carrying, haven't tried any of the other ways yet.
I bought this carrier when my baby was about 3 months old (he is now 4 months old). I had found the moby to be great when he was super small and also have an ergo 360. Advantages over the ergo - easier to get on/off without help, folds up easy and uses less space (at this stage I am needing ergo infant insert with ergo use), baby can easily nurse while being carried (HUGE bonus for me!!), baby gets less hot that in the ergo, and at this size he can lean back and sleep against the "head rest" - in Ergo he seems to have to lean forward and sleep against my chest which is wonderful for cuddling but not when I am out walking and he gets a sweaty face. Also, I purchased this on a great rollback price of $22. While I would pay more for this carrier (and have for others), this made it the best deal ever.
I received the wrap carrier a few weeks ago and I use it everyday. When my baby is fussy I wrap her up and she content while I get things done around the house. Also makes picking my son up at his bus stop easier I don't have to drag out the stroller. The only hang up is having to tie it up takes a few moments longer that a buckle would, and was a bit difficult to get used to.
This was my favorite go-to carrier with my last child, and when she outgrew it I passed it on to a friend because I wanted it to continue being used. I just bought a second one for the new baby due in March, can't wait to use it!
