Replaced the exact same unit HWTF1000S. Fit right in without a problem and works great. My only complaint in terms of performance is that the prior unit started leaking after 4 years and damaged our wood floors. The warranty is only for 3 years and now I've placed a water leak detector under the unit.

We replaced our 15 year old Franke hot/cold water filtration system with a comparable Insinkerator system. I like the appearance and the movable faucet. Also the tank is smaller than my old tank so I have more room under the sink. The plumber who installed the unit said it installed easily. He highly recommended the Insinkerator! However, I don’t like that to turn it on you push the handles back. My old model had handles that pushed to the side. The way my sink is set, the new handles hit the window ledge every time I get water. Also, it is impossible to turn the cold water all the way on, which is an advertised feature. My other disappointment is that when the hot water tank is heating, it is much louder than my old model.

I purchased a home 2.5 years ago with the instant hot water InSinkErator installed. It had worked very well until a month ago. When I saw water under the sink, I knew where the leak was coming from. Unfortunately the unit was out of warranty and I had to replace it. I was happy that the same unit was still available and that it could be replaced by my plumber. It is working well and I hope I get many years of service out of it.

We have had an ISE Hot Water Dispenser for over 12 years. I accidentally damaged our first dispenser's tank. We immediately replaced it with a new faucet and tank about 6 years ago. Last summer, the tank on our second dispenser began leaking. We did not replace it immediately, due to summer/fall trips and warm weather activities. In November we bought a new tank and filter that I installed myself. There are many uses for near boiling water throughout the year, especially during the winter months. We consider an ISE Hot Water Dispenser an essential appliance in our kitchen

Not sure you will want my opinion, but here goes. I have had several Insinkerator hot water dispensers over the years; this last one lasted exactly 3 months before it completely stopped working. I appreciate the fact that the warranty covered the replacement, but 3 months - come on.
