Irish Blackthorn Walking Stick

Got this for my son and he loves it. He uses it hiking and around town

Bought one for me and one for each of my two brothers. We are all men of a certain age and the look suits us well

Bought the Blackthorn walking stick as a gift. Was exactly what the recipient wanted. Making them happy makes me happy.

this is the walking stick , especially if one is over 6ft. sturdy,and enough heft to get some things straight.

Nice looking stick. I have a couple of actual blackthorns and this is not that but it is not bad. I had to cut it down by 1 1/2" for it to be actually useful as a cane and I am 5' 11". It is also VERY heavy to be used constantly as a cane. I have no doubt that this weight would be helpful in a self defense situation but even then it would be better to be lighter. I like the looks but the weight would probably deter me from using it all the time.
