Isopure Low Carb Protein Powder, Chocolate, 50g Protein, 7.5 Lb

I was an Isopure fan for years but the new formula tastes like garbage. Bad smell opening the can, terrible salty aftertaste that wasn't there before, and the shake stays gritty and won't dissolve. Company needs to go back to the old formula.

Something changed in there formula all the flavors now have no taste and super chalky and grainy.will have to find a new brand not paying this price for something that tastes worse then a store brand for a 1/3 of the price

Did something change with the formulation? There are all these hard white salty particles that collect at the bottom. I've been using this forever and never seen this before.

I've been using this protein powder daily for a couple of years and loved it until the formula changed. When I first opened the powder with the new packaging I immediately noticed how terrible the smell was. I couldn't even bring myself to actually try it. I took the powder back to the store and the clerk who processed my return smelled it and had the same reaction, saying it smelled awful. I thought I might have gotten a bad batch but I saw tons of similar comments online related to the formula change. Unfortunately, I've had to start using a new powder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This protein was good, but I am generally not a vanilla fan. I did find that I enjoyed it more mixed with something, like coffee, then on its own. I do think that the ingredients are great, the calorie content is great, and the protein content is great. So while the flavor wasn't excellent, I do give this three stars simply for the nutritional content. Well done on that front.
