Against genuine Turkish backgrounds, dashing flyer Jim Brennan (Flynn) becomes the accidental recipient of a fortune in diamonds and , thus, the target of smugglers. His fiancee, Stephanie (Cornell Borchers), suspected of having the gems, is attacked and burned to death. Five years later, a still-grieving Jim returns to Istanbul for the diamonds he had hidden there. He discovers Stephanie's alive and married to another man (Torin Thatcher). Furthermore, she has amnesia and doesn't remember him! The handsome Flynn and the beautiful Borchers are joined at their favorite club by another great, Nat King Cole, who sings the original version of "When I Fall In Love." the magnetism of these stars and the splendor of the city of Istanbul make this a not-to-be-missed screen experience.
