Henckels - Forged Synergy 3-pc Starter Knife Set - Stainless steel

I've been using this set of knives only for a month but I really love them. I'm aware that a proper maintenance is required otherwise the knives become dull easily so don't expect that the blames will be sharp for long time. I have bought very high top knives and I ruined some of them for not knowing how to take care of them. I also bought a good sharpener and now I know how to keep the blades in good condition.

I am very pleased with this set. The sharp forged German steel blades cut through easily. The handle is comfortable to hold. I like the variety of sizes. I use the pairing knife for peeling, the Chefs knife for larger prep jobs and I use the utility knife for cutting and slicing cooked meats and cheeses. Its a great start and a great value.

I love the design of these knives because I like the 2 tone of the handle that gives it a sleek look. These knives are so sharp that I have been able to get through everything with ease and I found that with these 3 knives, I can get through anything I have needed to cut.

these knives are priced very well for the quality you get. I was surprised to find them for my daughters dorm suite. I though for sure I would end up with something pretty cheap based on the price range we were looking at. Having Zwilling knives at home, I am convinced that the quality is good, the will stay sharp and safe and the girls will be comfortable using them.

A full set for a beginner young cook! This 3pc. set is a great gift t encourage your young ones to cook and introduce them to its purpose before they go to college of before they own an apartment. This set has 8" chef for any big cutting needs and a smaller though 6" carving, both are great to cut meats, vegetables, and fruits. Paring knife is a bonus to have for fruits and small food to cut.
