Jacquard Paraffin Wax, 1 lb. Bag Paraffin is derived from petroleum, and is often used in conjunction with batik or encaustics. It is relatively brittle and will flake when used alone for batik and therefore is commonly mixed with microcrystalline wax. It can also be used for cleaning encaustic brushes.
