John Deere Gator 12v W/ Dump&seat Belt

I bought this for my 2 year old and he loves it! We have had no problems with it. It was a little difficult to put together with only pictures as a guide. My 10 year old niece rides with him and they are right at the weight limit and that thing just keeps on trucking!! It is definitely a good buy!!

We bought this for our four year old son Christmas 2007. It was easy to put together and the battery lasts for hours with constant riding. We did purchase traction bands to help with slick hills. He loves it and every kid that comes over loves it. Great with the weight it can hold, even I have takened a short ride on it. We have owned it for 8 months now and the gears are starting to make a little noise so not sure if they are about to go out or not, but not bothered by it cause it's driven everyday for hours and the gears look easy and not costly to replace ($10- $12). Like many others I had read the reviews before my purchase and felt somewhat I was taking a chance, but I kept in mind if there was a problem the thing was going back. I'm so happy we bought this. It was worth every cent in one day just to see the smile on his face that continues to this day.

We bought the John Deere Gator for my sons 3rd birthday. We spent over an hour putting it together and stripped one of the pieces that hold the seat on that night. The next day the seat completly fell off, the tailgate broke and there was no seat belt in the box. We had it for 5 days before we had to return it to walmart. I was very very displeased with this product and would not recommend it to anyone!

My son got this for his 3rd b-day. We are just shy of owning it a year. We bought it because we are big John Deere fans. The problem with this product 1. The gears are very sensitve you have to teach your child how to keep moving it a little bit to get it in gear. 2. Just recently our 1st gear and reverse have stopped working 3. I spend more time pushing it around the yard then my son actually getting to drive it. The wheels spin easily on the grass and on the road. He gets stuck ALOT! BAD TRACTION 4. The back wheels have started to make a cranking sound. 5. The battery doesn't last very long. I am going to let him drive it until the 2 gear no longer works or I get tired of having to walk over to him and help him get turned around (remember his reverse no longer works) I am very dissappointed in this product, I thought it would last more then a year. My nephew has a jeep that seems to work great so far. His wheels never spin.

We have two girls (6 & 3 yrs) we chose this toy for them because it was the one with more space for two big girls on the seats. Although their first reaction was "It's not Pink!", they love to ride it, at this point the battery has lasted for as long as they ride it (30-45 mins per day). It requires time to assemble it, my father and I are engineers and took us a almost 2hrs, reading the manual, but was relatively easy. The seat belt is too short for my girls even for my 3 yr old.
