John Morrell Morrell Snow Cap Lard, 4 lb

Lard isn't the same quality as it used to be, I like making biscuits and pie crust with lard because how it would hold together better than vegetable shortening, but this lard in particular doesn't work the same. The lard is also more fluidy on cool days, I expect it to be firm like other brands of lard, not to be like an oil. The smell was average, there are far better lards out there that have been rendered better. After this fourty percent price jump, this isn't worth the hassle of poor results, will be spending that on better quality elsewhere.

Clean grease tastes great frying food

I'd give zero stars but it won't let me. With as much shipping that Walmart does now you would think they'd learn how to package products. I'll be headed to my local store to return these. What a wasted mess. The lard itself is nice though, when it's usable.

Received this product today no packing in box product had lid off and half was spilled in the box and the box was greasy and nasty please do a better job at packing.

I recieved an empty bucket that was supposed to conrain lard. i recieved a ten pound bag of sugar which was saturated with the contents of the empty lard bucket, the entire was destroyed by the contents of rhe lard bucket
