JORGENSEN 33412 E-Z HOLD Medium-Duty Expandable Spreader Clamp (12 Inches)

I am a woodworker with lots of clamps. I have them from various manufacturers. While I love my Bessey Long Bar Clamps, I mostly use Jorgensen E-Z Hold Expandable Bar Clamps in a couple different sizes. They are the best clamps I've ever used. Much easier to use than my Bessey clamps. They are fast, strong, quick to set, and very solid. They are heavy for their size, which is good. You want rock solid clamping. I cannot praise them highly enough. Outstanding!

When I was shopping for some news clamps at my local Box Store I saw several kinds and verious prices. When comparing all the brand's I did a search. I found that for the price the Jorgensen Clamp's were the best. It didn't take long before I knew that I was Sold on your product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked up a few 12" ones. They slide fantastic which makes single handed use very convenient when compared to other cheaper versions. The placement of the release trigger is in a different position. that took a little bit of practice to get the muscle memory (The only reason for removing a star. it took me a couple of months to learn since i was still using my other quick clamps). The clamp faces are also larger than other quick clamps which is probably the best feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a carpenter. And i get in to a lot of different jobs. I have 6 of these in my truck at all times. There so handy for so many reasons. I will clamp boards to my latter so it won't move. I will flip my belt sander upside down and clamp it to my sawhorse to do some fine tune sanding on a piece. Or clamp the piece on the sawhorses to sand it.

been using the Jorgensen expandable clamp for about three years now. I have had no issues. The clamp hold wood pieces in place and is applied using one hand. The pressure applied by the clamp is appropriate for most jobs. I do a lot of small glue ups, like 2X4 and small 1bys and we have had no problems.
