Joy Razor Handle and 2 Blade Refill Cartridges, Yellow

This razor has a slim handle which makes it difficult to get a good grip on it. I could see that in the packaging at the store. So, that is my fault. But, when I first used it I realized it does not have any type of gripper on the handle. Which left it sliding around in my soapy hands as I tried to shave my legs. I will finish up the two razors it came with. But, will toss it after that. I would not buy again and do not recommend.

Except for some disposable razors I used in my youth, this is, hands down, the absolute worst razor I have ever used. I was attracted to the price point so I thought I would give it a try. It is a cute razor and that is all I can say for it. I used shaving gel as I normally do but this razor still stung terribly with each pass. It felt very hard and biting against my skin, no give at all (yes, I am aware I'm not to press down), very rigid blades. Even though the head pivots, it did not pivot during the shaving process. At the end, I ended up with raw, nicked legs, with rashes and shaving bumps a day later. I wanted to give it a fair chance a few days later, so thinking maybe the first blade was a dud, I swapped it out for the extra one that came with the razor and it was exactly the same.

Hardly ever do I write reviews but I MUST for this razor. If you have sensitive skin, this is for you. If you are a hairy gal like myself, this is for you. If you hate shaving “down there”, this is for you. The shave was almost effortless and left everything smooth. I was using the Bic disposal razors for the longest, but I'm switching to these now!

Definitely not buying again. They are terrible. I usually buy Venus razor but saw so much advertisement for these it made me want to try them. However, they don't have a good grip on them- it's so hard to shave when you can barley hold your razor.. that probably is why I am ALWAYS cutting myself with it. I haven't had a time where I don't leave the shower with cuts on my legs because of this. It's not that I'm a reckless shaver either.. I literally NEVER cut myself with my Venus one. When you're shaving it feels terrible and is painful. Save your money, don't buy. Pay a little more for better quality.

to sum this up, you get what you pay for. I was not at all impressed with this razor. I bought the pink one and the first time using it I had bad razor burns on my legs. I will definitely not be suggesting this razor to anyone I know. It pulls at your skin while shaving and I had to go over the same spot 2-3 times for a completely clean shave. Very disappointing.
