Jumpin' Banana Chuckle Buddy, Dog

My 7 month old Pom puppy loves this toy!!! He throws it around and carries it from one end of the house to the other. It is very entertaining for him and for us to watch him play with it!

The laugh sounds like it's from a Halloween Fun House; scary and echos. It would be perfect if it had a childs giggle instead. Also it's LOUD which anoys everyone. Got it for the cat and dog. They agreed it's too loud also. If only I could turn down the volume...

I actually bought it for my two one year old 10 pound Shih Tzus. They might be small, but they are extremely destructive. As with many dogs, they play hard with a new toy and lose interest after ten minutes if that even. Keeping that in mind, having this as a toy for 2 wild pups as compared to a child toy, it's still going strong after a week so far. The battery box is more secure than many similar toys. I see no sharp points on the toy that can be harmful. The pups have loosened the fur outer cover on the tail, but not the tail itself; yet, you have to figure, they are dogs tugging and biting at it, so all in all, it is well made. It IS hilarious, and sure, it might startle you when you walk by; yet, it does what it says it will do which is laugh and roll when activated by motion. Unlike some other "vocal" toys, the sound on mine is loud and clear. It makes me laugh! When I take it away from the pups, I do put it somewhere it won't roll off a counter or break anything else near it. It is motion activated and very animated.

I bought this after a friend showed me the one she bought and the laughter truly made me laugh, but the laughter of the one I bought was somewhat scary. . .sounded like a far recording of someone trying to laugh. I returned the item.

Does what is advertised, but I have had a similar product before. It was a pig, different brand/company, but rolled around laughing like this one. Biggest difference is the laugh - which is what truly makes this toy - it was clear and distinct and infectious. This one sounds so garbled and fake that I'm concerned my nephew will think the dog is barking at him rather than laughing. Will see when he opens it Christmas morning. Keeping my fingers crossed. Would recommend the Lolol brand over this one tho.
