Justrite Self Latching Drum Cover with gasket and vent is made from steel with a powder coat finish and is designed to use with 55 gal drums. Cover transforms the drums into a fire safe hazardous waste receptacle and the gasket, latched lid features a rotary latch mechanism to seal the drum to avoid release of vapor. It closes automatically when released and latches automatically thus closing the drum when not in use. This reduces the chances of oxygen entering the drum and starts a fire. The chemical-resistant cover is used for the aircraft, furniture and printing industries and meets the requirements of NESAM standards.
