I read reviews before I purchased and noticed the biggest issue was the floor brush it comes with in carpet. I searched and found a power brush that works with it. Would have been easier if it came with one. I have kids, I have pets. I live in a dry dusty state. I grew up with a much more expensive vacuum that also uses water to filter. This is clearly not the 1200$ vacuum, but it got up so much pet hair and dust! It really does do what you would expect it too.
With my and my daughter's allergies we had hoped that a water filtration vacuum would help us be less symptomatic in our own home. Unfortunately, most water filtration vacuums are prohibitively expensive. We tried the Kalorik because it got really good reviews as being an affordable option. Sadly, it only works on very low-pile carpets and hard surfaces, but we have brand new high-pile carpets. All of the cleaning heads just get stuck on the carpet and can't be moved, so you end up lifting the toolhead, placing it far away from you, and struggling to pull it towards you as you clean, and the whole process is absurdly difficult. And although it definitely filtered a TON of stuff that the vacuum missed, it was simply too difficult to clean with and unwieldy overall. And for hard surfaces, we find the Tineco and other wet/dry vacuums are actually almost as effective, and are certainly significantly easier to use and clean up a greater variety of messes with more ease. Overall can't really recommend this vacuum.
I like this vacuum it cleans great. All it needs is a longer hose to clean those areas that are tall like top of the wall, ceilings, ceiling fans, and ceiling fixtures. It has great suction, easy to clean after use, easy to store.
Been using for 2 weeks, so far so good. Pros: low price, good suction, no filters to change, lightweight, not super loud. Very similar in concept to $1K rainb* brand, of course cheaper parts. Also looks cool. Cons: included floor tool is mostly suitable for hard surfaces not carpets. Construction is mostly plastic so probably won't take much abuse without something breaking. Don't buy for carpets unless you also get some other carpet tool attachment or have very thin carpets. Included tool doesn't have wheels nor a brush roll. I only have hard floors and it performs very well on those. The amount of dirt that it picks up in the water is an eye opener.
This is the vacuum cleaner you want! Yes, it takes attention- make sure you read instructions and follow carefully. But the power in this machine that captures dry or wet messes into a water tank is the best! No bags; no emptying canisters into garbage with the filthy dust flying in your face! No, you dump it all in the toilet and flush it away. Rinse the barrel. Rinse the cyclone generator. Wash and dry the three little sponges. Never let it tip over and fill the water tank exactly. The clean is amazing. The dirt that goes into the water is amazing. It gets everything out of the house; floor, ceiling, leaves clean air. No vacuum dust smell. And it's a gorgeous machine.
