Kenney Fabric Roman Shade, Linen

I got this shade to replace an old one, and I like it very much. The material is a little stiffer than my old one, but it is still nice. It lets light in, but still provides privacy. One detail I wasn't clear about before ordering is the wand that raises and lowers the shade needs to be mounted on the window casing. It's ok, but I prefer the old style with cords (I couldn't find that style anywhere - probably hard to find due to child safety concerns). The price was definitely cheaper than any other I found online, and I know that when I order from Wal-Mart it's easy to return to the local store if I need to. Overall I think it's a good value for the price and does the job.

The 2 issues I had with the shades: I ordered the khaki color that appeared online as med tan but when they arrived, although the box said "khaki" they were the same color as the "off-white" option also offered online; I was going to use them anyway until upon opening one to see the fit in my window, I found on the back, running top to bottom, in the center of the shade and only about half the total width of the blind itself a separate piece of white mesh fabric used to support the strings that pull the shade up and down. The fabric is ugly, and the appearance from the outside of the window when the shades are down is not good!

They are good for my daughters first apartment.

Very cheaply made. Returned the item.

I bought these for my baby's room - it took me a very long time to hang, and when I did finally get them up, they looked cheap. They did not roll up evenly and the lining did not stay attached to the linen shade. All around, these shades were poorly designed and not worth the money. I took them back.
