Big disappointment and daily frustration. I'm now having trouble with the replacement they sent me for the one I purchased 4 months ago. This new machine malfunctioned on the first day out of the box, gave me 2 ounces of cold coffee with grounds. It hasn't worked well one day in the 2 weeks I've had the replacement. I've purchased many Keurigs over the years but have been getting lemons for the last few. If they can't send me a machine that works well, I'm done with Keurig.
It's a second machine I purchased specifically for the iced coffee option.. I've used it 2x as of now.. The iced coffee option I find comes out better in this machine vs my other Keurig that brews only hot coffee but it does have a frother built in.. So I can make any coffee I am in the mood for.. lol
I have a small work-in kitchen in my apt. My old white Cuisinart Coffee Maker served me well but was taking up too much room on my counter and I could not get the brown coffee stains out of the white plastic. I got tired of looking at it. The Keurig K-Iced takes up half the room. It looks cool in the Gray color and performs well. I have used it only to brew hot coffee so far. I've used Starbucks Caramel pods and I also purchased the My K-Cup Universal adapter new version to brew ground coffee from a bag of Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla. Both tasted great! I like that the water tank is transparent so I can sew how mush water is left and remember to dispose of it to prevent mold. When brewing via the My K-Cup, I fill it past the Max Line to the very too, I press the Strong Button and 10 oz. I get a delicious big cup of coffee. I tried filling it to the Max Line and it tasted too weak. When using pods, I press Strong and 8 oz because 10 oz comes out too weak. The only thing I don't like is when the watee tank is less than half full, it won't brew. The Add Water light blinks. That precludes me from using bottled water because I like to discard the water in the sink when I wash the filter. Other than that, I love this coffee maker.
I love this machine! I've been through 2 name brand espresso/ iced coffee makers in the past and got rid of both because they either required a lot of upkeep, use of coffee grounds, or very expensive pods. Keurig pods are so easy to come by, fantastic and this machine is low maintenance! And I love the versatility of being able to enjoy a hot coffee as well as iced. The ice does not melt, and coffee does not taste watered drown! Highly recommend!
I love this machine. I currently have 3 Keurig machines in my home and I love the sleek design of this one. We have a single K cup in our basement and a dual upstairs. This is a great addition and with the sleek design, it doesn't use a lot of space.
