Kid Connection Walking Pet Cat with Sound, Purple, 9"

Interactive. Got this for my 4 years old daughter for Christmas, she is still enjoying it.

Awesome little toy. My kid loves it.

First pet (corgi) stopped walking the next day, a change of batteries didn't fix it so we exchanged it for the purple cat. The pets have two buttons, one wags the tail, one starts the pet walking. Both actions have a sound (bark or whimper for the dog, meowing for the cat). Only problem is the sound repeats and repeats as long as it is walking or wagging. Demo mode shuts it off after about 10 seconds, normal mode it continues until the button is pushed again. After about 15 minutes of constant noise, I'm about ready for it to break again. I might try and see if the speaker is accessible and put a sticker over it to muffle the noise. I'll update if the second pet breaks down.

My 3.5 year old daughter loves her new walking kitty cat. She's obsessed with pink and purple so I love they gave her purple fur. The fur is actually really soft. So far the buttons that control the meowing and walking work well. I'm glad she doesn't meow without being prompted to. She doesn't walk very fast (my husband mentioned that the neighbor kid had a different brand of a similar toy that did walk faster) but I don't mind, works well for now! Definitely worth the money!

I am the grandmother of 2 young granddaughters both of which are cat crazy. I so so excited to find this Kid Connection Walking Pet Cat. We are not able to get a real cat at this time due to having an older dog but this toy pet cat entertains them enough for the time being. This battery operated purple kitty runs on 3 AA batteries (which were included) and has an attached pink leash and collar. to “walk” the kitty. Pros and cons: Pro: batteries included, fun colorful soft purple and white furred cat with a pink bow in on her left ear that is oh so sweet, the cat walks, meows and even wags it's tail when buttons on leash are pushed. Cons: leash is very short and cat walks very slow. The cat meows loudly and continuously. Cannot walk cat without it meowing but cat can meow without walking. The meowing is extremely annoying, even to my granddaughters. Overall this is a cute kitty. But my granddaughters tire of it easily and because it is so slow, they end up dragging it by its leash. So I have a very mixed review on this one.
