Kid Trax 12v Ram 3500 Dually Ride On

The tailgate does not open all the way. My three and a half year old grandson has trouble opening and closing door. Radio should be real for this price.

My grandson loves to drive his new Ram truck. Unfortunately after less than a week, the truck stopped running. Turns out the battery was old. The truck was manufactured in early 2013 and we did not buy it until Sep 2014. Apparently batteries only last 15-18 months, even with no use. Power Cycle company who manufactures the truck are willing to replace the battery under warrenty, but they are currently backordered. The backorder date was 2 weeks ago, but they said they have not received them yet. Needless to say, my grandson is disappointed right now.

We bought this truck for our daughter's third birthday. She loves it, especially because it has a bed she can dolls, flashlights, etc! I appreciate the fact that I can choose how fast she goes. The battery life is good thus far (had it about a month now and only charged it twice). The only feature it's missing is a little radio (because we always have the radio on in vehicles).

My son asked for this for his birthday. I'm old school and thought the price was awful high for something that doesn't have a gasoline engine. But my wife convinced me that this was the best thing for him to have considering our subdivision rules(Don't get me started on that communist home owners association). The look on his face was worth the price when we got it home from the store. Yes it does involve some assembly, but that is what a father is supposed to do for his kids. The instruction manual is easy to understand if you lay out all the parts before attempting to assemble. My knock on the item is the price and the plastic on the hood is caved in. It looks like it warped after molding from the factory. But my son loves it and plays with it every day so I wouldn't think of returning it.

We got the truck in 2 days and it has a metal frame which makes it much tougher than the power wheels ford raptor. I highly recommend it and its got a longer battery life with cool features for the same price oh yeah did I say a meatal frame :) that is huge for kids that will be tough on it.
