KIND Bars, Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Protein Bar, Gluten Free, 1.4 oz, 12 Snack Bars

Bought these bars because I like the taste and they are less sweet. But opened a package I bought couple of months ago (still within expiration) and the bars tasted foul. Seems like shelf life is not good or expiration dates ought to be tightened up. Very disappointed that I have to throw the whole pack away.

I picked up my package at my PO box and opened it to find two things I didn't order. Turns out the packing slip had someone else's name and address on it. So, I received two boxes that I didn't order and she probably received three boxes that she didn't order. However, Customer Service is shipping the correct (hopefully) boxes to me.

Chocolate peanut butter and nuts, high protein low glycemic. It tastes like dessert but it's actually high quality nutritious food. This is pretty much the only brand, and they only type of bar, the kind bar, that I purchase. That's because it is grain free, there is no evil stuff in there like hydrolyzed this that or the other, or different oils.. I've narrowed down my food choices exponentially to some things I love and that I will just rely on. This is one of them!

It appears that Kind has recently changed this bar to be 7g of protein instead of 8g. That may not sound like much but the bar has a completely differently taste and tastes like a candy bar instead of something I feel healthy eating. Instead of the signature crunch, it is very soft and chewy like eating candy. I will no longer be purchasing.

I have been eating this type for a couple years now, but the sudden changes to the product completely ruined it. The old one had 8 grams of protein, this new one has 7 grams and it changes the taste to be less flavorful and more chewy. Of course this is subjective.. but this ruined my favorite snack.
