King Canopy 13' X 13' Garden Party Backyard Gazebo in Almond

Gazebo is OK. There are some complications with the written instructions how to mount it. OnE serious mistake is that there are no tools to fix gazebo on the earth where you put your construction. I still am looking what can I do do make sure that some moderate wind will not blow it away..

We purchased the Garden Party Gazebo for Christmas and just recently put it up. Assembly was easy and took 3 people about 45 minutes. We also purchased the anchor system as recommended. The installation went well but our biggest complaint was the lack of material to tie the top to the poles. They give you about 3 inches where 6-8 inches would result in a much better knot. We used it one day and we were very pleased. The next day we had a cold front which produced some very high winds. 25-35 knots. The Gazebo held up well which I thought for sure it was going to sail away on me but it did ok. My one big mistake is I bound the very top cross bars with a couple of zip ties. As the winds blew harder the fabric rubbed up against the ties and caused some small tears in the fabric. I should be able to patch it up but use tape instead. I did take it down the following day to remove the zip ties and to repair the top with fabric patch. I also plan to tape all the connection points to make sure it does not come apart in the event of high winds. We are intending to keep our gazebo up in the back yard and time will tell how long it will last. I think for the money, it was a good price with only a very few issues. I had also read that people were having trouble zipping up the bug netting. We did not have any problems with that issue at all and are very happy with it thus far.

I bought two of these gazebos for a wedding and they worked great! Beautiful design and set up was very quick. I did follow some of the recommendations and used self tapping metal screws to hold poles sin place since they do not have any locking mechanisms. The screens fit perfectly and looked great. Vey pleased. Only downside is that they are not very easy to store, big boxes

We were pleasantly surprised when we unpacked the gazebo, the metal framing is way sturdier and thicker than any other gazebo we have purchased. The first time we put it up was a little difficult, but we have had to take it down a couple times due to tree trimming and it's a snap now! I would definitely recommend this gazebo to anyone.

The instructions state that this gazebo is only for temporary use. The poles slide together but do not lock in place so a big wind could tear it apart. If you were handy with a drill, you could drill a hole thru the pole connections and place a stainless steel bolt and nut through each hole to keep the poles from coming apart in the wind. I read previous reviews that said that the screen was not long enough to totally zip together, because the sides were not made long enough for the final zipper to close. Mine had the same problem. If SAM'S wants to over quality products then they should have the manufacturer immediately fix this problem. I'm disappointed that SAM'S has not corrected this issue. Even with this flaw (we never planned to close the screen) this gazebo is worth the cost.
