King Kooker #CS14 - 25" Tall Heavy Duty Portable Propane Single Burner Outdoor Cooker/ Camp Stove

Bought one as my relatives love theirs. It Cooks even better than we thought it would. The temperature control is excellent, and the wind screen works very well.

We needed a large cooking surface for a 13" pot. This cooker has an extra large cook top and gets tons of heat where needed. Perfect for what we needed.

My great wife bought this burner for my birthday present. The construction is solid, firm and heavy duty. The legs are removable for storage but not operation. I filled my 20 quart pot with 3 gallons of water and it came to a raging, rolling boil in 15 minutes. I chose this one primarily because it was the tallest one with the best price. I have a dodgy back so bending over to pick up the full pot of scalding wort or to add ingredients is not good. The directions say not to use it within 10 feet of anything flammable. Well, I live in Florida. My backyard is full of pine needles and our mosquitoes are the size of most birds. My initial light up was under cover of my large screened patio. Monitoring the heat of things around me I conclude that nothing seemed remotely warm, not even the ground. The sunlight hitting the outdoor carpet was warmer than under the burner. Enough said! Saving time and perfecting my brewing process is what I'm looking for.

This is a fine cooker for the price. The legs are bit shaky but the burner works well. It was easy to assemble.

I just recently graduated to full boils and needed something to get the water up to temperature quickly. This guy does the trick. It will boil 6 gallons of water in my 32 qt pot in about 30 mins, whereas my stove took 2-3 hours to start boiling. The first time you use it you will have a pretty strong burning paint odor though, so just sit upwind from it if possible the first few times.
