I purchased this refrigerator one year ago and at six months old the compressor died, spoiling all my food. Once that was fixed the icer maker died. It has never been fixed correctly. There has been condensation on the freezer door that they can't seem to fix. To date, they have been out TEN times to fix it and refuse to replace it. It's an expensive piece of junk. I will never purchase Kitchenaid again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased about 1 month ago. Makes loud noises constantly, the aluminum frames of the shelves are sharp and jagged cutting my hand, and there's condensation pooling on top of the freezer door seal already. I saw lots of comments and reviews about the bad freezer seal. I should have listened and bought something else. My 16 year old Samsung was so quiet you never knew it was on and it never had a seal leak. F-

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a move in ready spec hone that came with Whirlpool appliances and the refrigerator was just so small, 20 cubic feet. We purchased a new 26.8 cubic foot Kitchen Aid refrigerator and we are so delighted with the storage room in this new refrigerator. We love it. The only item that is not up to our standards is the small ice maker. We have run out if ice a few times but we will just have to make ice and bag it and freeze it for future ice needs.

Purchased in 2021. Freezer LED light is out which is connected to many of the fridge LED lights which are also not working. I contacted an authorized repair man who advised that he could not change the light in the freezer because the wire was too short. Whirlpool techs advised that the fix was to cut the freezer liner to access the wire and splice a new one and then silicone to fill in the cut in the liner. I was told by the company that it was working prior to the light going out and it was not their problem that the wire was too short. They offered by 30 % off on a new fridge. Warranty or not, stand behind your product that you built! Buyer beware.
