[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this tool last week. Makes making so easy. At first, I struggled putting the whisk but it was just a matter of following the instructions manual carefully. Great tool. I always put my trust on KitchenAid!

I was actually surprised at how lightweight it is; it's a pretty substantial mixer, but it isn't heavy. Fairly quiet, also (I had to retire my old Oster, from the 70s; that thing needed a muffler!). It feels solid (another brand I looked at seemed very flimsy). Another great design, KitchenAid!

I ordered this mixer because I was afraid I may never get cookies or cakes again if I didn't. The mixer arrived about a month ago and sat on the kitchen counter still in the box. I kept looking at it but it never moved, finally I couldn't stand it anymore and got a cake mix out the pantry and decided to make a cake. Having never made a cake before I was somewhat concerned, but it was so easy and was actually kinda fun. Now that I'm no longer a cake virgin I may try it again. Plus I was the only one licking the beaters!!

It's going to take some getting use to with the controls but the power is great. Now I can't wait to make some cookies. One use but pretty impressed and looking forward to many, many more.
