KIWI Express Shine Sponge, Black, 0.23 oz, Pack of 2

Had the same problem as the last three reviews all of which gave 1 star reviews; the product did not or or the oil did not dispense through the sponge. I tried pumping the valve under the sponge for 10 minutes without any success. Not wanting to admit defeat I deconstructed the Express Shine sponge and valve to manually apply the solution to the sponge. In my opinion the valve seemed to operate correctly. The solution however seemed to viscous to flow through the open valve to the sponge. I cut the valve off to allow the solution to flow without restriction, yet it still flowed slowly much like honey at room temperature. Eventually I was able to get enough solution on the sponge to shine my shoes. I don't feel the Kiwi Express Shine a bad product, possibly a bad batch. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe polish did an everyday clean up on my husband's dress shoes. They cleaned up scuff marks and overall made them look nicer. However they added no shine to his shoes. I was disappointed because I was hoping to make them shinier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is perfect to shine your work and dress shoes. It's quick and easy and does the job! Just remove bottom and slide sponge over shoe and that's it! Makes a difference and is convienent to take along in your bag or leave in the car to use before work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasnt aware of this brand of shoe polish and to be honest i've never bought shoe polish. My daughter has a pair of black boots with some wear around the toes, i applied the polish and was shocked at the results. Her boots now look newer and have some "pop " back.

Pic of my receipt to show I bought this. Nothing comes out of the sponge. I rubbed and rubbed it over my shoes , no results . After reading other reviews I feel a lot of these are defective. Kiwi should look into fixing this issue instead of creating disappointed customers who wished they had bought something different to shine their shoes.
