K'NEX Titanfall Building Set: Militia Pilot Attack

instructions were a little hard to follow, but overall very fun build, very nostalgic.

Did not know a lot about Knex building sets - but more familiar with Lego...Unfortunately children and I were quickly disappointed. Two many small pieces and TOUGH to hold together. Even the little figures quickly fell apart. We gave up in a short time in trying to put it together. Tried with an older child 8 and they did not enjoy it any better. A lot of patience needed and not really made to play with, unless very gentle. Could not make the cannon shoot or keep the two guys together. Looked like a fun play set...But would not recommend it. Sorry...

The kids ages 10 to 12 were intrigued and spent a few hours playing with the set. The kids in this age group loved the set and enjoyed it. I definitely recommend it for this age group.

I asked my 12 year old nephew to test this product as he is a fan of the K'NEX toys. He liked the fact that this was a Limited Edition and he could collect others to complete the set. Because this item is recommended for children 8 and up I thought he would make a very good tester. When I looked at the 93 pieces I thought to myself this will be a challenge at least for me as an adult, but for a 12 year old it was a piece of cake to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and before I knew it he was up and running. Because it does have many small pieces I do not recommend allowing small children to play with it. Although my nephew had fun putting this together I think at 12 he would be more challenged with a much larger set. With that said an 8-9 year old would probably enjoy it more.

I got this for my son and its great! He loves K'NEX products because there are so many things you can build with them. He loves making the original items from the box and then adding them to his collection of other K'NEX and building all kinds of new things from there. Great product and awesome gift idea! :)
