[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of these type of sides but this one was just a bit too bland for me. I could see it pair decently with a side of chicken or steak, but don't expect to eat this by itself and be satisfied. It makes a good amount but just taste like it's got a hint of salt and that's it.

The rice itself is tasty and has a very tame sauce that goes well with the peas and carrots. The rice cooks quickly (within 10 minutes really). You don't need much to make this a meal either. We had it as a side with chicken, but you can easily make this into a rice and chicken dish or use it as a side with fajitas. I have zero complaints with this because I can use it camping by boiling water and letting it simmer or bring it to a cookout and make people think I made it. Just kidding! But seriously, a little high in the sodium, so don't eat nightly, but this rice will be an added welcome addition to our pantry.

Not only easy to prepare but also surprisingly very flavorful. I'm loving the mix of both pasta and rice. My little ones just gobbled it right up. A great choice for a fast easy and flavorful meal.
