this tank is very good, i just bought this tonight with my father. although some parts need adjusting and the lid doesn't lock on like a normal lid, it kind of just sits on top, so i wouldnt put it anywhere that can be touched by little kids. it looks great, especially with colored rocks. when you put the filter in, make sure its ALL the way at the bottom, under all of the gravel, because when the rocks go under the filter bottom part, it goes into the tube. it took me 5 times to set up because of the rocks going into the tube, but if you stick ur finger in the tube, no rocks will go in.

I got two of these for bettas, and they work great, the light is bright, and gets hot enough to heat the tank so you don't need a heater. The air pump is loud if you don't have it on a towel, but that is an easy fix. I like the look of the tanks, and they are great for bettas, but only bettas. Don't put any other type of fish in there because it is to small, they will die within a year and I can guarantee it.

This small little tank is perfect for your childs first pet. Cute and compact it comes with everything you need to get started, we choose a betta fish and he seems to like it just fine. It doubles as a nightlight and has a quiet motor. Get some rocks and a little bush and you're all set. Very cute!

Even though this tank is not really reccomended for goldfish, we have one in there anyways. We got this tank for our 5 year old daughter. We did have two goldfish in there, but one beat up the other and it died..so we have just the one..I would only reccomend one at a time. Have had him for two years and he is still enjoying his tank. We will eventually get a bigger tank for goldfish when we want more then one, but until then, this one is perfect for our little fish.

I bought this tank orginially for two small black moores. that didnt work out. then, i bought one big black moore. that didnt work out ( although he did last three weeks.) and now, i got a betta. He is loving it. got a plant in the corner part and he goes in there and hides all the time. then, he comes out. i have had no problem with the pump. the light bulb burnt out, but, heck, i can replace that with ease. the only thing that i really hate is that dumb lens. it falls into the water way to easy. and it really makes me mad.
