Koolatron 6 Day Automatic Pet Feeder, Gray/White

Worked wonderfully feeding my cat.She was a little skiddish about it but got used to it pretty quickly. Had it set for every 12hrs and each one opened close enough to 12 hrs [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This unit helps my 9lb cat feed properly when I am not home. We used to give her a bowl full of food and as she has gotten older, she would eat until she got sick. This feeder is PURFECT for a fat kitty!

We feed a stray cat in the garage, which we have made very comfortable for her. Put this out prior to going on vacation. Worked fine for a few days ~new battery, etc. About 4th or 5th day, stopped, would not advance. My husband brought it in the house & it started working. At first thought it was jammed but he is pretty sure it stopped because of the very cold weather we have been having. About 6 degrees above zero when it stopped. This morning is -1 so we are guessing it will not advance tonight. Appears to be a good item but doesn't work when extremely cold......kind of disappointed. Purchased based on pretty good reviews.

We wanted a way to feed our cats while we were gone without feeding the possums also. Discovered this 6 day feeder and decided to try it although some reviews reported difficulties. There were no problems. We used it for a few days prior to departure to make sure the cats would accept it. They didn't seem to care about the difference. We made sure each section was not overfilled so the lid could turn easily and set the timer for 12 hours as we feed them twice a day. It worked so well, I intend to purchase another one so we can be gone for a longer period of time. My only concern is that each compartment doesn't hold very much food. The manufacturer could have made the bottom part a little deeper.

A good product for the price. Very quiet when changing trays. Uses a 9v battery which is good, they last longer. my cat sits in front of it every morning waiting for her next meal. I use the 12hr setting, she gets her meal in the morning and a snack at night.
