The Kreg Jig K4 comes in a nice carrying box (heavy duty cardboard) with a handle. It is compact. It comes with a "dust collection attachment". The kit contains the following: Kreg Jig K4, stepped drill bit & stop collar, 6" square-drive bit, starter screw se4t and starter plug set. It is lightweight and, I'm sure easy to use. Unfortunately, I had an arm injury and haven't been able to test this product out. I was able to take it out of the box and look it over and it does, indeed, come with all that it says it does. It can be used to "...build with wood - home improvements, bookcases & shelves, storage projects, furniture, outdoor projects, repairs and much more". It will work with solid wood and plywood. The thickness of the materials that it accepts range from 1/2" to 1 1/2" thick. It will clamp conveniently to a workbench. There is a toggle claim that holds the piece you are working with. It says it sets up easily with built-in guides, I can only take their word for that for now, but am not sure I could set it up with ease. They also claim that it works as a benchtop or portable jig. There are some nice illustrations on the box and with the little booklet that came with it showing how to use it, etc. I would recommend this tool.

Got this jig set to try. I was really excited to get it. Been trying my luck making picture frames and needed to get good corners. I have made some frames but corners were always hard to do for me. The set was easy to use and had very clear instructions. The jig holds everything in place and you drill the holes and tighten with screws!!! Instantly I became a pro! I would recommend this to anyone that wants help in home improvements.

Honestly could not have gotten this at a better time! I have an older (18 yr) kitchen set with eight chairs and one of the chairs had a screw come out and the hole was stripped! I am not a great DIY or handy person by any stretch of the imagination and neither is my husband but this jig was pretty simple to figure out and very handy to use! A miracle tool for us! There are videos on line that explains how to use it if the instructions confuse you at any point. Just so perfect and easy to do I want to try to make some outdoor furniture for the summer season this year! Actually looking for more projects around the house to practice on now too! This Jig is awesome! Well worth having for sure!

A carpenter will tell you that a good jig is worth its weight in gold. This is a terrific jig. It's a new system called the Kreg System and it is great for carpentry and especially furniture building and repair. It comes with drills, screws and jig attachments that makes drilling, joining and pocket hole drilling easy and effective. Now, if you're a carpenter you would probably know all it does if I listed the many projects here. If you are not than you won't understand and you must read the manual to find out. I can tell you, as a carpenter, that this is a wonderful way to join parts, pocket drill and various repair applications made easy by this new system. It's not hard to use and you just need to know how to go about using the jig and attachments. It joins solid wood and plywood. You can purchase additional items like a quick change kit, key clamps and various other items that will make your projects and repairs a lot more fun and ensure solid joint connections. The Jig is well made and fun for all. Read the enclosed manual, purchase the many items available for this jig and your projects and go at it. What you really want to know is if it's worth buying. It is and I recommend it and submit a very positive review.

I was very impressed with the Kreg K4 Pocket-hole Jig. The instructions were easy to read, so it made using the jig very easy. It comes with an easy to use guide so even a beginner can use it. The pocket holes make it easy to build all sorts of fun wood projects. You can rest assured that with the Kreg K4 Pocket-hole Jig that your next handy man project will be done right. Since it is easy to use you will get your wood projects done sooner, and they will be good quality. I would definitely recommend this product to all my friends and family.
