The Mini Kreg Jig kit is the perfect kit for someone who wants to start dabbling in woodworking. Once you start cutting your pieces of wood, you will need someway of joining them to make something meaningful like a chair or table. There is much debate amongst woodworkers on the merits of pocket-holes which is what this kit is for versus traditional joinery such as mortise and tenons. Pocket-holes are not as strong but far more convenient compared to other techniques. You do not have to be as exact and you only need a power drill to get down to business. You just need to clamp the jig down and drill out the hole using the provided bit. It even comes with a depth collar for the drill bit so that you don't go too deep. I wish that jig and the drill bit were marked with the locations that coincide with the thickness of the wood. This kit does not come with any screws so you will have to purchase those separately. The Kreg screws have uniques heads that were designed for pocket-holes. Overall, I would recommend this kit to anyone who wants to try out joinery without wanting to invest a lot of money.

I received this Kreg Jig MiniKreg Jig kit & it makes projects so much easier. We do lots of wood working projects and build quite a few pieces of furniture along with cabinets, etc. I attached a photo of my most recent project. A drysink that we were making into a bathroom vanity. It was 4 inches too shallow to accommodate the sink we wanted to use. So we seamlessly added a 4in piece all around this cabinet. So easy!! Every one who builds needs one of these. It was super simple to setup according to the directions & adjust for the materials we were using. All we needed was the mini Kreg Jig, a small clamp, drill, and screws. We were both amazed at how easy it is to get the job finished and how much time we saved. Overall, we love this Mini Kreg Jig kit. Its a must in any wood working shop. I will definitely be recommending this product to others.

This is fantastic for building furniture and making those edges seamless. Makes your life much easier in the fabrication stage, and your final product looks extremely professional. Easy to use, smart design.

This is a nice little Kreg Jig. I was excited to get this and take a whack at using it. I have several projects that this will come in handy for. I have a small kids table that is always having the legs falling off. The construction of the table was not the best from the maker, and this came in handy to help attach and strengthen the legs. You do need some type of a clamp to hold the jig to the project, but a nice C clamp or Vice Grips will work just fine. The jig comes with a drill bit and it also comes with a ring you can clamp onto the bit to use as a depth gauge. The size of this jig is nice and small. It fits on and in areas that you would not be able to get a bigger jig into. The jig also makes it easy to put a plug into the hole behind the screw if you want to hide the hole and make it look nice and clean. I am happy with this jig and will be using it for years to come. It feels like it should last for a while.
