I was SO excited to purchase and receive these training pants. They are Eco-friendly and budget friendly. I bought these to help potty train my 2 year old. I ordered a small since my daughter is 25-26lbs and a small goes up to 29lbs. They seemed snug when I put them on but I thought maybe that's how they're supposed to be so there would be no leakage (and she didn't complain that they were uncomfortable). However, after having them on for 1 hour, I checked them and around her waist and thighs was red from them being tight. I took them off right away. I'll probably re-order a medium. I was disappointed that they were not true to size...now I have to wait even longer to get the right size.

I purchased these in the hopes that the cloth would give my daughter more incentive to tell me when she had to go or had gone in her "Pull-Up", due to the dampness not being pulled away, like in a disposable Pull-Up. Unfortunately, she is not bothered at all by walking around in a soaking wet, cold cloth "Pull-Up" & actually tells me she has to go more often when she is wearing her regular disposable Pull-Ups. I do like the fact that they are reusable & my daughter LOVES the colors! They are easy to wash & dry, but the leg & waist bands are a bit snug on her. It is a nice concept, but I am not certain that it will work for most children. She is already pretty much potty trained, but the fact that there is nothing running down her leg, makes them nearly equal to Pull-Ups, aside from them being reusable.

I would give this 5 stars if it only fit better. I got the next size up for my daughter and they are still too tight on her legs. She will often fight me if I try to put them on. However, if you can get them to fit your child, they do hold the accidents in well, wash well, and are cute. My daughter is not big at all and if anything I was afraid they would be too large because I sized up, but they still leave marks on her thighs.

I love the idea for the obvious reasons, i.e. better for my daughter's sensitive skin, not disposable (go Earth!), cute, etc... However, I found them useless. The 1st day I put them on my daughter everything was soaked AND pretty much the same result everytime I used them. I'm not sure what went wrong, I purchased in her weight range and they fit fine. So, I've concluded--the technology needs more work! The pants are bulky(didn't really bother me), EXCEPT the bulk doesn't stop them from leaking. Too bad...great idea, but needs work.

As a cloth diaper user I bought these as a gift for my cousin who cloth diapers as well. She said they were a great transition. Keep everything in, yet her daughter knew when she peed and wanted to be changed right away. A great start.
