These diapers do not hold up the tabs curled up in wash and they didn't hold up well at all.I don't recommend this product.I did try alot of other cloth diapers and found only 1 that really is made well and holds up and they are one size fits all way better then these cloth diapers i bought Babie Boomer Cloth Diapers they blow these away in every ave.
I have recently discovered cloth diapers with my 4 month old and I'm so thankful. This is a great way to save money. At first I was shocked at how expensive a piece of cloth diaper costs but considering the length of time my baby will use it, it's worth it. Not only do I not have to deal with a ton of trash each day, I get to contribute to a cleaner and greener environment in my own little way. If you have easy access to a washer and dryer, I highly recommend using cloth diapers. It is intimidating at first because naturally, it is not as convenient as disposables but after a few days, I'm used to it. What I do is soak them in a basin (even a big plastic bowl would work) overnight with about a teaspoon of baking soda, and then when I get up in the morning throw them in the washer with laundy soap only. I do not use softener because they say this affects the absorbency of the diaper. I also prefer drying them outside because it eliminates the odors and makes them whiter. Overall, I would highly recommend this diaper to anyone.
After reading all the reviews I was very excited about these diapers, especially because of the price. AIO's can be very expensive and these were about 1/2 the price of others I had found. I ordered 4 packages of 5 diapers so that I would have 20. I only opened 1 package so that I could get my money back for the others if I wasn't happy. Instead of being pleasantly surprised I was disappointed. The main complaint I have is how bulky they are and how they leave marks all over my son because of that bulkiness. They're good diapers, but I feel bad putting them on my son because there are so many layers that squeeze his legs and stomach and leave redness. Unlike other reviewers, I never had problems with leakage. I ended up returning the other 3 packages and I just rotate between the 5 diapers I kept. I figure it's better than nothing at keeping disposables out of the landfill if I can put him in cloth at least once a day. Kushies do come with great instructions and I like the feature of folding the velcro tabs back for washing even though they still sometimes snag things. The designs are okay. I guess they're going for gender neutral but they're pretty blah. I'm still giving them 4 stars because the only problem I really had was the bulkiness. They're still a great value for the money and are well-made. If you cloth diaper exclusively or at least just at home, these are a great value. But this was my first attempt to get into cloth diapering and so far my plans have been derailed.
I've used a fair selection of cloth diapers over the past year, and i must say that these are really good diapers. I will never go back to happy heinies, ever! Tooo many leaks. Kushies AIO's are very similar to Bumpkins, (fit wise) only the fastening tabs are a tad different. I actually like them more. Bumpkins velcro tabs are VERY difficult to pull off, and make diaper changes a slight struggle in that area. These velcro tabs are plenty secure, but not impossible to unfasten. Bumpkins prints are cuter, but these are definitely keepers! The all in one attatched stuffins is super soft, and is only attatched on the back so if there's any nastiness , it's easy to do the toilet swish. They don't hardly leak either. Only if we give our little one tons of water and then don't change her all day do they leak. Of course that doesn't happen much, lol!! All in all, they are great!
I really love these diapers, and my 21 month old loves that they are soooo soft on his bottom. The color scheme could use some updating, but they're about as gender neutral as you can get. We are potty-training, so the velcro fasteners are very handy because my son can unfasten them when he is ready to use the "potty." I don't use the liners and only had a few leaks in the beginning when I wasn't fastening the velcro tight enough. They are very thick, so nothing gets through when fastened properly, but they make some of his clothes tight because they are so bulky. Overall, that is a small price to pay for the knowledge that I am not filling the landfill with thousands of diapers.
