La Vaquita Crema Mexicana, Fresh Dairy Cream, 8 oz Resealable Plastic Bottle

I purchased La Vaquita Mexican style Cream for review purposes. Admittedly I had never seen or purchased this product before. Initially I struggled with knowing how to use this product, so I just tasted a teaspoon of the product. In my opinion I found the product to be tasteless not bad but without flavor. Going forward I think I would incorporate it into a soup or anything that needed to be thicker. The product itself is a thick consistency and doesn't have a long shelf life. For the reasons given I would likely not purchase this product again.

this was my first try of this product. It seemed little extra liquid for me. I added it to my meat lunch but was too thin. The taste was good though. Smells nice and fresh. Not sour too which is better. I use a tiny bit for each time so probably will buy again when it is no longer fresh. but I would give 4/5

Unfortunately the product I purchased has a use by date of yesterday. Still I shook it and used it on nachos. I miss the sourness of sour cream but this cream still adds a mild flavor to the dish. The bottle is easy to pour from and a good size to place on the table for a meal for all to use.

I've never tried cooking with Mexican style cream before, so I had to look up some recipes to use it. I ended up, just dripping it on on top of some enchiladas, and I absolutely loved the creamy consistency. It added to the dish. It cut through the sharpness and acidity of the tomato sauce, and it was such a refreshing addition.

I ate this with corn in a cup. I have tried this product before but never bought it myself. I also gave some to my non-hispanic husband and he really loved it!
