It appears to be a good value for the money. Not real heavy duty but the cost reflects this.

The product works great for any fire pit and the price in unbeatable.

This tool is well designed and sturdy. My only suggestion would be to design some sort of spring to hold the tongs open so that you squeeze against the spring to grab a log, but this is a minor point as the tool works well as is once you get the hang of it. It is long enough to be useful at fire-pits or campfires and strong enough to hold any log that will fit in the tongs. I shopped around -even e-bay-and Walmart had the best price anywhere on the net.

Works very well. When it arrived I had to make an adjustment because the wire connected to the handle was not straight enough as it entered the shaft. A quick bend on the activator wire with a screwdriver made the grabber work better. Also, worth noting, WalMart had the best price and with Site-to-Store I didn't have to pay any shipping. This is a DEAL on a good solid metal fire place and fire pit tool.
