Lands'End Womens Supima Cotton Scoop Neck Tunic Tank Vintage Peony Regular Large

I bought four of these tunic tank tops; red, white, black and water lily in size XL in accordance with the size chart. With the exception of the red top (which was a just a little more snug across the chest but not snug enough to prevent being able to wear it) they fit perfectly; i.e., body skimming, not close fitting. That's the good news. The bad news: After washing the red and water lily tops (in cold water) and drying (on lowest setting as recommended) the red top shrank easily a whole size and the water lily shrank only slightly less. Shrinkage was both in length and width and to the point where they don't feel comfortable to me anymore (I don't like body hugging tops). I realize these tops are 100% cotton so some shrinkage was expected but this was way more than I expected. I'll try line drying the other two so the purchase doesn't turn into a total waste.

After washing and drying it once, it shrunk at least a size and the neckline wrinkled. I like the lighter weight fabric, but not if it's going to look awful after washing.

I really love these they're versatile and stylish and I have them in a number of colors but I do have to agree with another reviewer that the newest ones I purchased are smaller than the ones I purchased in the past few years. They are smaller in the torso which makes the fit more body conscious and I feel it defeats the whole point of a tunic. The fit was perfect before.

New manufacturing in Egypt WAY smaller than previous manufacturing in Peru.. need to size up… quality control??

I bought theses tops for the past 2 years with no problems, but this year the armholes are HUGE! I was so disappointed! Returned it - size Petite med
