This pump is horrible - weak suction, low volume production! I even had to return the first one because the motor gave out in 2 days. I put this on my registry based on the reviews, but I wish I had just gone with the Medela Swing...because my manual Medela pump (Harmony) allows me to produce more milk that this, so I can only imagine what an electric one would allow. I will admit that if I use this engorged I can get some milk (about 3 oz on each breast), but when I use the Harmony I can get 4 - 5 oz from each breast. I do not recommend this pump AT ALL!
Good product.
I love this brand coz it make me got more milk when pumping. I have 3 years experience with this brand compare with another brand I think this brand is good for me. But for the last model (Affinity Pro) I found two problem. 1. On-Off button is not work, Press the buttons were lost in the machine. 2. Sometime the machine does not work (light absorption) without cause. When I knock knock the machine, its still work. Overall I still like this brand and continue buy new model (Signature Pro) 4th unit.
Don't waste your money on this! I was so hopeful this pump would work well, as I love the Lansinoh name for breastfeeding. I needed to replace my pump that broke after pumping for my daughter for 9 months and my son was 6 months old. I didn't want to invest hundreds as he is my last baby and I am only nursing until he is one. The motor on this pump was awful almost immediately so I contacted Customer Service and they overnighted me a new one, which was great. And it worked better for about 1.5-2 months, but now here I am again with a faulty motor!!! You have to hold it at just the right angle and sometimes squeeze it to get it to suction right. I'm SO disappointed and just wish I could get my money back! :( If you're looking for a similar-priced pump, go for First Years miPump, SO much better quality!
I bought this pump yesterday and it doesn't have sucking power at all. I was fully engorged and ready to pump and after 45 minutes only half an ounce! I made sure all the parts were connected properly and that it had been properly plugged in etc. The pump appears to be totally fine but it just isn't effective at all. 45 min and half an ounce? seriously?! So I plugged up my cheapo $70 pump (that i also bought at walmart its the fst years) and i pumped 5 more ounces. so it definately wasn't anything I did. This piece of you know what just doesn't work. And for ALmost $130 it should. I called lasinoh laboratories and explained the issue. She said if i only used one side to pump at a time it would work better.,..OK I bought a DOUBLE pump so I could effectively pump both breasts at once thus being faster and saving time. One breast at a time? I ain't got time for that. So, back it goes to the manufacturer. If you buy this, It will not work. SO i would keep your reciept or you'll be out $115- $130. Going to by a medela.
