Lansinoh Latch Assist Nipple Everter

These were a huge help to me with my first son. I was a very young teen mom. When my son was born I was 15 and very determined to prove everyone and the statistics wrong. So I took on everything I could to be a perfect mom. Breastfeeding was one of those main things in the beginning. But my body was not fully developed and I couldn't produce the amount of milk I needed in the end. While we were still trying my baby had some latching issues that we just couldn't get past naturally. So this little contraption literally saved us. Had it not been for this and a small little tube beside my nipple with a little syringe filled with formula I wouldn't have been able to even get him a little breastmilk. And in my opinion some is better than none so I'm glad I put all that time and effort in to give it to him the first year.

Works ok, besides nipple will go back flat after few seconds. My baby had a hard time getting the breast.

This was a life saver with my first child. She was having trouble latching on because my nipples were flat. Using this product with that immediately. It helped pull out my nipple more so my baby could get a better latch. After using it for a couple weeks little was finally able to get latched on without the help of this product. 

My baby had trouble with this, it made a clicking noise when he tried to latch. The plastic pinched against my skin (ouch!). This product may work better for someone with different sized or shaped nipples. Mine are semi-flat with small areolas but the breast is large. My lactation consultant recommended these to help with the flat nipple aspect--didn't work.
