Very easy to put together; a child could do it and good fan.

I must be honest. I bought it because it was cheap, but this little beast impressed me right away. It moves tons of air. We use it all summer long (on day and night) in a South facing bedroom and it makes it very comfortable. Actually, during the sunny days in the winter we have it on when the room gets a little too hot. I have owned mine for three years now and I am very pleased. The fan is on as I write this review :)

I'm not sure what's the difference between this model and Lasko's model D12900. They are both 12' fans and look the same. Goods: Deep blade pitch moves lots of air without a lot of noise. On low speed the fan moves lots of air and you can't even tell that it is on. Attractive looking. Easy assembly. Three-speed switch is easy to use. Bads: The rear carry handle is a joke. It's just a little rim of plastic and you still need two hands to pick up and move this fan. And it would have been so easy to do it right. Very cheaply made. Warranty requires you send back to Lasko and pay for shipping. Probably best to toss if you have a warrany issue. Performance to price ratio is quite low. Very expensive for this cheap fan. Delivery and third-party option appears to now be in effect with no free shipping in store pickup. When I bought this model a few days ago I paid a lower price with free in store pickup.

Needed a quite, affordable desk fan, oscillating a plus near my desk. The AC just didn't cool that corner. This is the loudest fan I've ever heard, very annoying and even the low setting blows everything everywhere including your hair in your face. I'm very disappointed but returning it is too expensive.

Fan head wobbly on setting number 1 and makes a squeaking noise when tilted up oscillating. Was much needed, no central air and I do not have consistent use of an air conditioner.
