Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder - Universal, 0.4 oz Powder

I've been using this product for about three years now. It really sets the make up and keeps it fresh all day. I have oily skin for the most part and this works well with that. I have tried the Translucent powder, but I like this one better. Seems to have a lighter look to it.

This stuff is pure magic! It keeps your makeup set and perfect for hours!! I've tried other setting powders and nothing, absolutely nothing compares. My lid was messed up and I wish I would have bought a puff, but a brush works just fine. Try it and you will not be disappointed.

I was trying to find my usual powder, when the makeup sales woman told me about this stuff. I had heard great things about Laura Mercier products so I figured it'd be great. Oh my goodness, I am so sad I wasted my money on this. (If someone compares this stuff to Makeup For Ever's Ultra HD Loose Powder, don't believe them.) I've tried different quantities and the result is always the same. It dries my skin out, makes it flaky, and settles in any and all creases. If I sweat with this stuff on, it's game over. Aaaaand I look whiter than normal (which is very white... I doubt this crowd watches Always Sunny, but if you do, think "Frank's Little Beauties.") I hope that made somebody laugh, because I am not laughing about this product. This was my first Laura Mercier experience and it will probably be my last.

I stopped using power when I reached 50, it just didn't work with my skin. I told the make up artist who sold me this - she insisted it was fabulous. Well I left Bergdorf's looking great - but the at home results are horrible. Emphasizes even tiny wrinkles, sits on top of foundation, you look like a ghost with even with barely any. Thinking the make up artist didn't have any on the brush. Packaging is terrible, once you've opened it it gets all over the place and becomes impossible to close, the plastic lids and container grate against the silica powder and you can never get it properly open or closed again.Makes a sound like nails on a chalkboard when you try to open or close.

I was originally turned onto Laura Mercier's products through this powder and I have used it for years now. It is lightweight and doesn't feel like you have a layer of powder sitting on your face. It blends out any fine lines created by your foundation beautifully. It also takes care of any oily areas that I get throughout the day. It doesn't add any extra color to your face and a little powder goes a long way! It is always in my makeup bag!
