My 2.5 year old son had a blast with this set. So far we have only used them in water, but I look forward to using sand. I really like that the scoop provides both a scooping and scissor motion. It's great practice for scissor skills with out having to use actual scissors. The set provides a variety of different fine motor opportunities. They make great bath toys!

This was a great easy to carry around product. It says it can be used for sand and water but I think it would be awesome to use for dry items for the kids to sort colors and items. Very versatile and colorful. The squeezers picked up a good amount of water and is durable. Great toddler tools to scoop and squeeze to help strengthen their motor skills.

These are perfect for water table fun this summer! Easy for small hands to manipulate each of the tools. I love that while the kids are playing with them, they are developing fine motor skills that you wouldn't even think about. Came in an easy to open package, and ready to use right out of the box. Great hit with the kids!

I was really excited when I saw this product on the website. My 2.5 year old son loves water play whether it be outside (since we've been having a heat wave) or in the bath! We always liked the twisty dropper since we've hadn't it from the Helping Hands set. However the top doesn't come off and I worry mold will form. I guess we'll just toss it at the end of the season (which disappoints me because it feels like a waste!). He loves watching the water go up and then come down - almost like a fun straw! The scooper was probably better designed for a rice bin. Not many kids at this age are agile enough to balance water on and move it from point a to point b, even if it's in the bathtub. The squirter is another favorite because my son loves to pour water and squirting is always more fun! I also love that the tip is removable and can be easily cleaned out! The grinder was my least favorite. I thought my son would actually move from the top to the bottom and see the movement on the piece but it just stays at the bottom and grinds there. Again, I think this might be better for the rice bin. All in all, I liked a few of the pieces.m and they all help so much with his fine motor development. I do wish the twisty dropper wasn't recycled from another set so that we got a new piece. I received thuan product in exchange for an honest review.
