That's the horrifying question innocent American couple Katherine Ross and Sam Elliott must ask in this unrelenting thriller. The terror begins to mount when the two are involved in a motoring accident in the English countryside with a mysterious aristocrat, John Standing. When he attempts to make amends by taking them to his lavish country estate, they find their arrival has been strangely expected. But puzzlement soon turns into horror when other house guests, including rock star Roger Daltry, begin dying off in mysterious and violent ways. It soon becomes apparent that supernatural forces will stop at nothing to find the rightful heir to an unspeakable legacy.
