LEGO - Creator Expert James Bond Aston Martin DB5 10262

I'm a James Bond fan and when I saw that the DB5 would be retiring soon decided this had to be a part of the collection. I started building Lego sets 2 years and this is my 8th build. By far one of the best builds so far. I enjoyed the detailed and the inclusion of the car's gadgets that allowed James Bond to defeat the bad guys. Some of the areas were more challenging to build but that makes it more interesting. The finished DB5 looks great in the collection and my favourite feature - the ejection seat that works!

Mission accomplished. I must be dreaming. This Lego set will leave you shaken on how good it is and definitely not stirred. It's shockingly good, positively shocking. I especially loved how they left the best feature to last. Was looking forward throughout the build on how they were going to achieve it. The model when complete looks amazing. It's just the right size…for me that is. You don't need to brush up on a little Danish to enjoy Lego and this set although I wished Lego would make more Bond sets. Like the world, one Bond set is not enough.

It was a fantastic to build, it 150mm wide 300mm long and 125mm high ish! Yes it has the rotating lights to machine guns controlled via the gear stick inside the cabinet. Yes it has the rear bullet proof screen that rises as you turn one of the exhausts. It also has the working Ejector seat by pulling part of the rear bumper. It's one of the best lego car sets out in my humble opinion at the moment. Worth every penny.

This was a fun build. I was surprised that the steering wheel wasn't attached to the front wheels but the ejector seat, bulletproof shield and fog-lights/machine guns made up for it. I was disappointed that there was a huge visible scratch in the rear window. We've been begging lego to pack widows separately but for some reason they won't do it. The front window was packed with the rubber tires and it was fine. Just pack windows separately guys!!!

Thank you lockdown. I have been able to rekindle my love of Lego. Been lucky enough to have built six Technic and Creator Expert models since just before Christmas and this one is amazing. The amount of detail and functionality that has been built into such a small(ish) space is just phenomenal. I would recommend paying attention when securing the radiator grille, however, as I tried to do so using the wrong arch bricks....took me 10 minutes realise that there were two sizes and that the shorter ones are needed here! Whoever designed this little gem is a genius. I still think that this one is my favourite....so far!
