LEGO - Friends Magical Ferris Wheel and Slide 41689

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids were bouncing up and down with excitement over a new LEGO set. Both my boy, aged 7 and my girl, aged 6, sat down eagerly to start building. This LEGO set came with 3 instructions books, and 5 clearly labelled packets. The kids mainly opened everything and did the entire set themselves, supervised by mum in case of slightly misplaced pieces. The kids worked together to solved problems of how far off each pieve needed to be by counting the dots on each lego. They also helped each other by finding and picking each next peice. The instructions were clear, but the kids sometimes forgot if 1 piece was needed or more. The whole process for all 3 instruction booklets and 5 bags of lego took about 75 minutes. After which, they thoroughly enjoy playing with the characters, having them go down the slide, into the magic secret room and pretending to have the characters juggle. They loved the movable Ferris Wheel and could spin around. This set was loved by both my son and daughter.

It was a bit tricky for her to follow the instructions but she was a lot more engaged than previous sets we've made together. She has been playing with it a lot over the past few days and even her 4yo brother loves spinning the Ferris wheel. I would recommend this set but younger kids will definitely need some help building it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colours of this lego set was the first thing that caught my little girls attention, she loved the brightness and the fun theme! My daughter is 6 so it took a few hours for her to complete the set with some guidance but the step by step instructions were easy to follow and the pictures helped to keep her engaged. At the end she loved the pretend play of being at a fairground, and her little brother was in awe by it too as it reminded him of the circus. I think this set would be suitable for 7 and up as the package indicates, I would recommend for any child who is able to sit and concentrate long enough to build it all as it is so much more rewarding for them to do it themselves.

It was a good level of challenge for her, keeping her entertained long after building it , with it being a very interactive and fun set. She was able to build it with a small amount of guidance, and sat there very involved in It until it was complete. The colors were beautiful and the theme really was something she loved. It was very suited to a 7 year olds age like the age recommendation of the packaging , and would also suit older ages of a few years. She played with the set once built, with her 5 year old brother who really enjoyed the theme and it's interactive qualities aswell. This is a set I would highly recommend, it's instructions were straight forward to follow , and it was all around great fun .

It created a connection with the family, especially during this pandemic period where we cannot go out much. The Lego set is best time buster and excellent way to engage the children. It generates analytical skills and kids start to learn to be patient. I would recommend this lego for everyone to play with their family and friends.
