LEGO - Harry Potter TM Hogwarts Castle 71043

This product was bought for me for Christmas. Each bag opened contained many pieces that added the most smallest of details found throughout the story of Harry Potter. The set is quite large so be sure to have somewhere to put it. There were a two small pieces missing from one bag but I was able to find them within our Lego collection. This set took over 35 hours to complete and has not disappointed.

This was one of my first biggest buys on LEGO and I cannot be happier with my purchase. This product seems expensive but until you have it built right in front of you you don't realise the sheer size of the build. It was the best money I ever spent, and building it was so much fun. As I got further into the build I realised the amount of detail the LEGO team put into this set. I highly recommend buying this set as long as you have a fair amount of patience and skill level to build it.

Having tried many of the minifig scale Hogwarts buildings such as the clock tower, the great hall and the astronomy tower (all of which are very good) I finally purchased this one. Didn't regret it for a moment. It's an absolutely absorbing build with lots of details throughout and it manages to capture as many of the film scenes as it can within the space. My favourite was the miniature Hagrid's hut which is so minutely detailed it made me smile. This is a must for Harry Potter fans (make sure you have the space first!)

It may be so big that you really need to think about where it's going to live when it's built, but everything about the set it exactly what you want - a wonderful building to look at from the front, and packed with tonnes of tiny fun details on the inside. This is easily my favourite Harry Potter set.
