LEGO - Icons The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell 10316

I finally got to build this set, and I have to say, this is the best lego set I ever built. From start to finish. Ingenuity written all over it, every single corner is ridden with detail and beauty. Absolutely incredible, I have to thank You for this build experience. Here's hoping there's more where it came from. 100% recommend

Whether you are a fan of Lord of the Rings or just building LEGO in general this is the perfect LEGO set. As a Lord of the Rings fan, the attention to detail is incredible, creating a beautiful accent piece for my living room. As a LEGO fan the build was never boring. The designers building techniques are very creative and make for an exciting build bag after bag. On top of this you get a great variety of mini-figures including the fellowship and some additional elves and dwarves. While a bit pricier, I think the end result is well worth the price - making it one of the best LEGO sets I have ever built.

It's been a little over a year of saving and we finally made it! And well, this set doesn't disappoint! It has become easily the favourite set of everyone in the house. Building it has been amazing, the techniques are interesting and the results beautiful. Capturing the Elvish architecture in tremendous fashion. 15 mini-figs keeps the kids happy, the ultimate play house. And my partner, usually dismayed by the amount of LEGO the kids and me have, has been planning out the display of this set for weeks. To the destruction of all others, one set to rule them all! If the price has been your issue, it's very understandable but this set will blow your socks off, it's one of the best LEGO has ever made. The biggest downfall, as always, is those blasted stickers. On such a premium set, this will never not be a massive letdown.

I must declare this as the most remarkable set I've ever had the pleasure of constructing. The level of detail is simply awe-inspiring, flawlessly capturing Elrond's Council with meticulous precision. The vibrant colors, along with the breathtaking roof pattern (albeit a bit laborious to assemble), contribute to its overall splendor. I'm particularly impressed by the ingenious and unconventional use of pieces, such as the sausage chairs, gazebo, and the grey minifigs as statues. But what truly elevates this set is the inclusion of a vast number of minifigures, including the entire Fellowship of the Ring, adding an extra layer of immersion and authenticity. It's an exhilarating set through and through! My only lament is its hefty price tag, which may deter some potential buyers.

After waiting what feels like forever for this to be released I can tell you now it was well worth the wait, I have collected quite a lot of the original Lord of the rings and hobbit Lego sets over the years but always thought it was missing something and this Rivendell set is that thing ! Everything from the tower to the bridge is amazing they have really captured Rivendell in this set. Any Lord of the rings or hobbit fan should own this set I can not recommend it enough !
