Not really any other marvel set that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get all of these characters in one bundle. My son was thrilled with this toy and out of the ton of gifts he received from Santa he said this was his favorite. Instructions came on the box instead of a pamphlet and he destroyed the box. Luckily we got the instructions online from Lego just in case your kid does the same.

Many of the avengers characters are present, the side items are great as well.

We bought three of these this year for our boys. On was missing SpiderMan and instead gave us a second Christmas Tree Base package in its place. Instead of returning it, I contacted LEGO directly for a replacement mini figure. The first two attempts failed because it was an automated system that was coming back as saying I was trying to order too many pieces for it it constitute as a ‘missing part' so the third time, I contacted LEGO customer service email directly. The next day, I got a message saying they take thing like quality issues very seriously and would immediately send of Peter Parker on his way to our home and in addition to this, was sending not one, but three surprise pieces for gifts for all three boys for the inconvenience we went through. About a week and a half later, we received our order made right by LEGO, who held to their word! I won't take any stars off for this issue since it definitely was a factory distribution issue, not a WALMART one, and that even while it was an inconvenience, the company went about and beyond to make it right! We love LEGO and have since my oldest (now 22) was little, and we will still by from them regardless of this hiccup.
