The set is great looking and was my son's favourite Christmas present. However, the underside/floor of the cockpit is horrendously unstable. Bits fall off during light play. I've pretty much taken it apart and rebuilt twice with little improvement, and have now resorted to adding extra bricks from other sets to the bottom to strengthen. Time will tell if that works.
This looked like an awesome build - and for the most part it was (tricky in places, excellent in others) but the front base is so flimsy - if you even look at it falls apart. Originally we thought we had missed something which shored it up etc so we re-built it - 3 times - To no avail - the structural integrity of the front is awful. You cannot play wityh this set at all. I think this has potential as a cracking set but not without a release to sort the build quality - it's not what I expected from Lego.
The imperial light cruiser is an excellent edition to any Star Wars collection. I purchased this for my brothers. They enjoyed the build and played with it afterwards. The price is higher than the 2014 Lego star destroyer. I wish they were priced the same. Overall it looks excellent displayed beside their other Lego Star Wars sets.
RATE this as 0 stars. It states LEGO Star Wars...ITS FAKE from the flea market or something. Spent $146.50 on this LEGO Star Wars Imperial Light Cruiser 75315 Building Toy for Kids (1,336 Pieces). I received it yesterday and its a knock off of Star Wars. It's SPACE WARS AND THE BOX IS DAMAGED??????? At first I got really mad and then laughed. I will be returning and getting my refund back out I receive the mailing formation to return it.
This item is being advertised as if it's the item Walmart sells. When I received the packages the item is a knock off it's not even authentic Lego nor is it what was advertised. Item wasn't even shipped safely either. Box is damaged and destroyed to all expenses.
