I bought this just for college use, thinking this would be a nice price for just one use. I do not use this for anything else other than to write, saving as few documents on the hard drive as possible, and web browser use to access my college account and classes. I can't really had more than five browsers open at once especially with online school, you often times need those 5 browsers to research something for your class) without it taking 5-10 mins to load the page. I was also never able to access the free Office software, so had to download something called Libre Office instead.
The screen is small but I did want a compact laptop that was inexpensive. I purchased a monitor to connect to the laptop for better, larger viewing. The keys are quiet and the features are good. The battery life is decent. I have a cordless mouse so I did not have to use the pad. Using the pad is irritating and difficult for me. I am happy with the purchase.
Looks good. Feels good to the touch, like it should cost more. Sadly, it won't hold a charge. It's been used twice. Was a gift for my college freshman. He contacted me on his first morning of college and said it wouldn't hold a charge past 1%. Could only be used with the charger connected. Can't get it repaired because it was so cheap in the first place. Repair diagnostic charge is half of what was paid for it.
This was junk, I bought this laptop for my son fit Christmas and didn't open it until February so my son could to school work. I opened the box and I plugged it up to charge, when I turn on, there was a black line going through the middle of the screen. This was the 1st time using it, so I went to return and they wouldn't accept cause it was part 15 days, even though I had the receipt
Lenovo makes a great laptop computer and I've been happy with prior models. This one lacks the 10-key pad on the side of the keyboard, but that was obvious based on the ad. My only gripe is that Lenovo somehow custom designs all of their AC power outlets to allow the base plug to fall out for no reason whatsoever, and this model is no different in that regard. Try not to type too hard. ;)
