Lenovo ideapad S340 15.6" Laptop, Intel Core i5-8265U Quad-Core Processor, 8GB Memory, 128GB Solid State Drive, Windows 10 - Dark Orchid - 81N800SLUS (Google Classroom Compatible)

I bought this laptop 7/25/2020 and it will not turn on. It sounds like there is something loose rattling inside and it has not been dropped. Very disappointing! Not even a year old and broke.

I love my new computer. I am still getting the hang of it but so far I have no complaints. You do have to do a lot of updating when first setting up but I thing that is normal. I love the color and the slick look it has. It works great for my college work. We use blackboard as the platform.

A few months ago I bought one for my kid to use at college. Perfect for his needs (Google docs, research on internet, occasional streaming video.) My high school kid needed a new computer as school now requires everything to be submitted through Google classroom, even though he is in the classroom. Whatever, the old laptop weighed a ton and the battery life was too short so bought another one of these Lenovos and it's also perfect. Lightweight, long battery life, fast startup. Does what he needs it to do.

Compared to my old HP 4GB laptop, this 8GB is lightning fast.. Everything is so fast. I Love this laptop.

Bought 2 of them for my kids, they absolutely love them. They are really fast, only 10 secs to boot up to the login screen and then 5 secs to be ready to use windows after logging in. The storage of 128 GB is really annoying, specially when the SO itself takes up the half of it. But my kids won't need that much, worst case scenario I would buy and external drive.
