Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant - Chalk

I'm still learning what all it can do but it's a great Google assistant and has good features, well made seemingly and definitely good looking. Google once (unprompted) said ‘I think there's a ghost in here' however and that freaked me out. Not joking!

I purchased two of the charcoal-colored Lenovo Smart Clocks with the Gooogle Assistant. I was really excited about this product because recently, I installed smart lighting into my home and wanted to work towards a "smart" home. Also, I liked the bedside clock's form factor because I had a Sharp alarm clock by my bedside for many years. When the product arrived, it was like Christmas. Once I got everything set up and used it for about a week, I noticed that some functions were not working correctly. When I went to listen to podcasts, the time announced by the Assistant was either randomly wrong or two hours behind. Using the Assistant features day-to-day, I noticed a significant delay between query and response (this could have been my internet connection, though). There were also things that I loved about this clock, as I said earlier, like the form-factor of the bedside clock. Also, I like the interface for setting alarms (which I still prefer over Google Nest Hub), which allows you to set recurring alarms without using your voice. At the end of the day, I returned my two clocks and purchased two Google Nest Hubs. The two issues that I had were enough to make me pony up the extra money for a first-party product. I wish I didn't have issues with the Lenovo clock, but I enjoy Google's interface better. Also, I know that I will be among the first to receive updates! Your experience may be different from mine, so I recommend trying the Lenovo clock before the Google Nest Hub. You may like it.

I loved it for a minute till I tried to get update items from the screen and it would say what it was doing but wouldn't show me. It would reboot daily, for no reason and tell me it was on battery and then boot up and be fine (sound wise) *going to exchange it and if next one works will up date review*

Very nice and functional for my needs. I have two so far...... all my lights in my home are smart lights, and I also have a smart garage door opener, these give me total voice control over everything, and also can control my Roku tv. And Google Assistant answers all my questions. Too bad it can't go get me a beer out of the fridge.... YET! Lol.

Returned due to being used and nasty. I have never received any item used before. This is very sad that they are trying to resell used items. I'm very lucky I could return to the store for a full refund and get a replacement for 49.00 storr price instead of the 79.00 online price.
